I seriously feed my guinea pigs 5 times daily. They only started eating like this recently, in the past two months or so. When they squeal and beg, I feed them. I often will get carrots sticks for myself, and I end up getting them out and we eat together.

They should ALWAYS have hay and pellet food available to them, replaced everyday. Guinea pigs’ teeth continuously grow and they’re likely begging you for carrots because they have nothing hard to chew on to grind their teeth down, which is part of what pellet food does. They need to have access to pellet food 24/7 in order to maintain their teeth and have a healthier diet. If you do not do this you will end up having to take them to a vet to get ‘dental work’ where they have to cut their teeth down because they have grown too long, which would not be a very nice bill to pay. But you should look at their teeth because if they are too long they could be painful and hurting their mouth.
In terms of produce, I give my guinea pig fresh produce 2-3 times a day, morning, afternoon and night. If your guinea pigs are squealing just because they are hungry and because they are used to begging for food then here are my thoughts: If you feed your guinea pigs when they squeal then you are just teaching them bad behavior that they will know they can get what they want whenever they want. If my guinea pig starts squealing shortly after I have given her fresh produce, I usually go and explain to her that she is being selfish by already eating a lot and if she wants more she can have her hay and pellet food. They’re just like every other kid, food is delicious, if you like it then you want it all the time and if your parents give you want you want all the time then you’ll probably get into an unhealthy behavior. Feed them what they *NEED* (and *like*) to be healthy, not what they *WANT* all the time. Hope that helps!
But seriously, get them pellet food ASAP so they can take care of their teeth.
Going out tonight for a change but now found out that after my best friend goes to study in Germany, my one friend that I thought would still be living in the area will be moving to Cali. So now I feel like I have no friends in driving distance… Meh… All my life I have been the person whose closest friends always move far away, why can’t I be somewhere and have a close group of friends that all do stuff and have fun and support each other?
Here is the minecraft server that I have been playing on for a number of months, the Olde Tyme Craftery and Creepertorium! It has been amazing getting to know the people on this server, and even more amazing to just be a part of it. With a great welcoming community, awesome builders, and all of the minecraft fun in the world, there is no way to pass this server down.
As for a few background details: All vanilla server, no cheating, stealing or griefing. We play on the hard level. Typically 0-10 players on at the same time, but with many, many more players in total. Age restriction of 18+ unless given permission by an admin. Also, we always play on the latest snapshot when Mojang releases them!

If anyone wants to recommend one, I like my brother’s favourite server. It is Survival, no grief, no stealing, PVP outside of spawn and towns, and you can make your own town. The community is also small with 0-5 people on at a time, but more players than that of course. Also, no white-list.
Hey RuffPuff, I wanted to respond to this with a great minecraft server that I have been playing on for a number of months now. I don’t know which one your brother plays on, but I play on the Olde Tyme Craftery and Creepertorium. It is all vanilla, on hard level, no stealing, cheats or mods, but with some amazing people and a great community. I see you said no whitelist, and this server does have a whitelist, however it is mainly just to get rid of the idiots that would join and ruin the fun as well as ensure players are 18+ years old, nothing too strenuous. There are 0-10 players at a time, with some great builders and great people. If you are 18+ and are interested, please just check out their forum below and just take a look at the whitelist application, it is pretty short:

He was the sweetest guinea pig everSimon died yesterday :( He has been very sick on and off for about a year now. My old roommate took him and cared for him when our lease was up because I was allergic to him ♥ I am glad he doesn’t have to suffer any more. Thank you, Sophie, for caring for him as long as he kept fighting.

I am super friendly and I love meeting and talking to new people. Some of my favorite hobbies are cooking delicious food, making anything that involves art or design, gaming (FPS), going on adventures with friends, driving with the windows down and music blasted, drinking coffee, and being around animals.
